Description
The Department of Veteran Affairs, New York Harbor Healthcare System - New York Campus is seeking potential providers of Immunohistology Auto-Stainer equipment and reagents for use in aiding clinical and research efforts in the diagnosis of abnormal cell such as those found in cancerous tumors in tissue samples. The equipment and reagents must meet the following minimum criteria to be considered for this procurement: The VA is seeking a brand name or equal of the Lab Vision Autostainer 720-2D due to the following needs of the government: "Dimensions of 67 x 127 x 58 cm "Minimum of 72 slides processed per run (Due to Lab Volumes) "Reagent capacity: up to 84 reagents per run, at 12 ml per reagent "IHC slide-staining system "Non-Biotin Based processing "Bar-code scanning of slides and reagents to avoid errors (To conform to VA patient ID protocol) "Ability to introduce STAT slides as the instrument is processing "Ability to have user-defined protocols Please submit the following information no later than August 14, 2008 @ 3:00PM (EST): (1) Capability Statement; (2) Product specification; (3) A list of your last three relevant contracts with a point of contact for each. Please note that these contacts will be called and used as a reference. The above information will be reviewed by the contracting officer and the requesting service to determine your capability for the acquisition.
