- SOLICITATION NOTICE: The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick AFB, FL announces the release of the solicitation for roofing construction support at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS). The required support will provide all labor, equipment and materials necessary to refurbish, repair and/or replace roofing systems on various facilities maintained and operated by the 45th Space Wing. Specifically, work will include roofing demolition; installation and repair of modified bitumen, shingle, tile and metal roofing systems; and installation and repair of roof details and products typical to the roofing industry. The solicitation is being conducted under FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION and will result in award of one Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The period of performance will consist of one base-year and four one-year options, not to exceed a total of five years. The magnitude of the acquisition is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The NAICS for this acquisition is 238160, with a size standard of $13.0M. Contract award will be based on a best value analysis using performance-price, trade-off (PPT) procedures.
