- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The items in this solicitation are to be incorporated with existing equipment. Quotations are due on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 1500 HRS (3:00 pm) EST at DMVA, Bldg. 0-48, USPFO-PA, P&C, Attn. M. Brown, Room 242, FTIG/Annville, PA 17003-5003. Quotations may be submitted by e-mail at: mike.v.brown@us.army.mil. NAICS Code is: 332999 Request that all vendors quote utilizing General Services Administration (GSA) schedule if product is available. Evaluation will be based on the overall best value for the government. Accordingly, please note that, unless otherwise specified herein, to the extent required by applicable regulations and/or guidelines, award will be made to the responsible Seller whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Buyer on the basis of price, technical capability, and delivery. FOB Destination. The ship to and installation location is CSMS-EAST, Bldg 10-102, Ft. Indiantown Gap, Annville, PA 17003. Delivery and installation is required within 45 days from date of award. This RFQ is being conducted as a commercial item procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13). No paper copies of this solicitation will be provided. Contract financing will NOT be provided for this acquisition. The Government reserves the right to not make an award at all. This RFQ has three (3) line items, with multiple items included. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type purchase order is anticipated. Base Equipment Color shall be Green, unless required to be a different color for safety reasons. ITEM 0001 - Cabinets - Quantity: 26 total units. High density modular/stackable cabinet; Overall anticipated dimensions: All units to be 27-3/4"D; One (1) unit to be 60"W x 42"H; Three (3) units to be 60"W x 35"H; Three (3) units to be 30"W x 35"H; Two (2) units to be 60"W x 30"H; Eleven (11) units to be 30"W x 33"H; Five (5) units to be 60"W x 36"H; One (1) unit to be 30"W x 37"H. All units MUST be able to securely stack on/under/between existing inventory of Stanley Vidmar modular/stackable storage cabinets, as well as on/under/between similar units. Specifications By Unit follow: Quantity 1: 60"W x 27-3/4"D x 42"H Cabinet with one (1) shelf (model DWCS80), one (1) door assembly (model DWOSD245), and one (1) bottom pan (model DWBP80). Quantity 3: 60"W x 27-3/4"D x 35"H Cabinet with one (1) shelf (model DWCS80), one (1) door assembly (model DWOSD200), and one (1) bottom pan (model DWBP80). Quantity 1: 30"W x 27-3/4"D x 35"H Cabinet with one (1) shelf (model CS40), one (1) door assembly (model SDD200RH), and one (1) bottom pan (model BP80). Quantity 2: 60"W x 27-3/4"D x 30"H Cabinet with no pallet feet and with one (1) shelf (model DWCS80), one (1) locking device (model SDL1351), and hardwood top measuring 60" x 30" x 1-3/4". Quantity 6: 30"W x 27-3/4"D x 33"H Cabinet with no pallet feet and with three (3) drawers (models 50 w/ LD 106, 50 w/LD 1616, 55 w/ LD 1616) and one (1) locking device (model SL10). Quantity 6: 30"W x 27-3/4"D x 33"H Cabinet with no pallet feet and with three (3) drawers (models 50 w/ LD 106, 50 w/LD 1616, 55 w/ LD 1616), one (1) locking device (model SL10) and hardwood top measuring 60" x 30" x 1-3/4". Quantity 5: 60"W x 27-3/4"D x 36"H Cabinet with no pallet feet and with one (1) shelf (model DWCS80) and one (1) locking device (model SDL1751). Quantity 1: 30"W x 27-3/4"D x 33"H Cabinet with five (5) drawers (models 25 w/ LD 1010, 30 w/ LD 68, 30 w/ LD 68, 30 w/LD 1010, 60 w/ LD 1010), one (1) locking device (model SL10), and hardwood top measuring 30" x 30" x 1-3/4". Quantity 1: 30"W x 27-3/4"D x 37"H Cabinet with five (5) drawers (models 30 w/ LD 66, 30 w/ LD 88, 40 w/ LD 88, 40 w/LD 1010, 60 w/ LD 1616), one (1) locking device (model SL10), and hardwood top measuring 30" x 30" x 1-3/4". All "model" references relate to Stanley Vidmar models in existing on-site inventory. All "LD" references represent Stanley Vidmar loading diagrams. Though existing on-site inventory brand/models need not be quoted, qualified responses must consist of equal to or better than products that are fully compatible with existing inventory of Stanley Vidmar equipment. Functional intent is that shelves and drawers be able to be moved from quoted units and used in existing inventory and that items from existing inventory be able to be used in quoted units. ITEM 0002 - Cabinet Accessories consisting of the following: Quantity 2 - 3-7/8" Drawer (model 30); Quantity 2 - 6-1/4" Drawer (model 45); Quantity 6 - 10-7/8" Drawer (model 75); Quantity 6 - Drawer Partition (model P30); Quantity 4 - Drawer Partition (model P40); Quantity 6 - Drawer Partition (model P50); Quantity 24 - Dividers (model D3008); Quantity 4 - Dividers (model D4010); Quantity 8 - Dividers (model D4011); Quantity 12 - Dividers (model D5016). All "model" references relate to Stanley Vidmar models in existing on-site inventory. Though existing on-site inventory brand/models need not be quoted, qualified responses must consist of equal to or better than products that are fully compatible with existing inventory of Stanley Vidmar equipment. Functional intent is that drawers, partitions and dividers be able to be moved from quoted units and used in existing inventory and that items from existing inventory be able to be used in quoted units. ITEM 0003 - Onsite Installation of all units from ITEMS 0001 & 0002. Quotes will be evaluated on the basis of the evaluation factors listed in this solicitation and the information furnished by the vendor submitting the quote or identified in the quote and reasonably available to the Contracting Officer. THE CONTRACTING OFFICER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOCATING OR OBTAINING ANY INFORMATION NOT IDENTIFIED IN THE QUOTE. Include manufacturers name, model number, and specifications, including country of origin for any non-U.S. end-product, in your quote. Unless the vendor clearly represents in its quote that the product being offered is fully compatible with existing inventory, the quote will be rejected. By submission of a quote, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in CCR prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation.
