- This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. There is no solicitation package available. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst is seeking Small Business sources including 8(a), Small Disadvantage Veteran Owned and HubZone to make a set aside determination for this procurement. The contractor must be capable of producing limited production quantities of a monitor clamping assembly, accumulator/manifold assembly and a power supply bracket. The equipment has been engineered by the Navy. The contractor must be ISO 9001 certified. The contractor should have the capability to receive detailed design drawings in Adobe PDF format. The material will be engineering drawings created in accordance with (IAW) AMSE Y14.100M. The contractor should have the following capabilities: 1. General Manufacturing: Cutting, Milling, Turning and Threading, Drilling and Tapping, Reaming, Grinding, Honing, Lapping, Knurling, Broaching and Sheet metal work 2. Welding and Non-Destructive-Inspection (NDI) of welding IAW MIL-STD-1689A. 3. Engraving 4. Identification and Instruction plates – either in house capability or through an established supplier network. 5. Plating, Anodizing, Painting and Passivation, either in-house capability or through an established supplier network. Attachment 1 provides a general description of the equipment in order to define the contractors required manufacturing capability. Attachment 1 is not to be construed as a final design and is subject to change. Additional capabilities which could be utilized include: 1. Computer Aided Manufacturing: The capability for a manufacturer to take a 3D Pro/E model and generate a prototype. The Government is looking for potential sources for this requirement.
