Description
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Detector Electronicsbrand name detector equipment as outlined below. No other products exist that meet thespecifications required (attached)This requirement includes the following:Five (5) Multispectrum IR Flame Detector, Very High Sensitivity P/N DE X3302A4N13W1.Five (5) UV Flame Detector, High Sensitivity P/N DE X2200A4N11W1.Five (5) Gas Detector, includes transmitter, enclosure, tagging per 79K08419 P/N U9500.Five (5) UV/IR Flame Detector P/N DE X5200A4N13W1.The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC _2005-26.This requirement is set aside for small business. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 334516 AND500 employees respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status forthis procurement.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.Delivery to Kennedy Space Center, FL is required within 21 days ARO. Delivery shall beFOB Destination.Offers for the items(s) described above are due by August 26, 2008 at 2pm local time. Quotes shall be sent via e-mail to Rob Wolfinger at rob.wolfinger@nasa.gov. Quotes mustinclude, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule,discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number(TIN), and identification of any special commercial terms. Offerors are encouraged touse the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items form foundat URL:http://server-mpo.arc.nasa.gov/Services/NEFS/NEFSHome.tmlOfferors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (JUNE 2008), Instructionsto Offerors-Commercial Items, which is incorporated by reference. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in theclause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the offeror shall so state and shall listthe country of origin.FAR 52.212-4 (FEB 2007), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is applicable.
