- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) No. F2U3408199AC01. This solicitation document & incorporated provisions & clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS Code is 334511 with a size standard of 750 (No of Employees). Requirement is for one (1) each Portable ILS Receiver (PIR) with accessories on a brand name or equal basis. Model must be equivalent to Model 7010 Portable ILS/VOR Receiver manufacture red by Thales ATM. Salient characteristics include: PIR Electronics, Instrument Case, Battery Assembly, 12 Volt DC Power Supply, AC Power Cord, Monopod Support, Glide Slope Antenna Assembly, Two EA Antenna Rods, Localizer Antenna Assembly, Antenna Support Assembly, Two Antenna Rods, Case Assembly, Two BNC Adapters, Two RF Cables, Two Straight Plug Adapters, RF Sampler, Male Phone Jack-toBNC Female Adapter, and 30 dB attenuator. Design features: measures DDB, SDM, percent modulation, RF frequency, AF frequency, harmonic distortion, and CVOR/DVOR azimuth; analysis audio and spectral of a received signal; measured data may be stored with a single keystroke and printed or saved to a computer; light weight, weighing 10 pounds approximate. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. This award will be made on the basis of lowest cost, technically acceptable. Clause at 52.212-4, contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
