- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The U.S Special Operations Command has a requirement for 12, infrared exhaust suppressor portable bearing tool kits, P/N ASK20-111-5 for the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne). Place of delivery will be Special Operations Forces Support Activity, 5749 Briar Hill Road, Lexington,, KY 40516-9723, (859)293-3928. The intended source is Aero Staking, Inc., 426 Judson Street, Bensenville, IL 60106-2651. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR Clause 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The property described is being offered in accordance with the exchange provisions of Section 201(c) of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949, 63 Stat. 384 (40 U.S.C. 481(c)). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-07, effective 02 Feb 2006 and & Class Deviation 2005-o0001. The associated NAICS code is 332212, and the small business standard is 500 employees. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) assigned rating is DO-A1.
