The intended source is Instron, Norwood, MA. Instron is the only company who can produce the Governments requirement for wedge action grips and associated faces compatible to their Instron Model 3382 tension-compression tester currently owned. This solicitation will result in a sole source, firm, fixed-price contract with Instron. No first article test is required. FOB will be destination to Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL, 61299. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
