- The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Milan, Michigan intends to issue solicitation RFQ-41702-001-09 for the provision of providing Radiology services at the Federal Correctional Institution and the Federal Detention Center in Milan, Michigan. The contractor must provide services to the inmate population. The contractor must be a Board Certified, Licensed Radiologist with an American Medical Association (AMA) Accredited School of Medicine. The contractor provided Radiologist shall possess a valid, current unrestricted license and certification to practice within the jurisdiction where the service will be provided. It is estimated the contract will run from October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009. A session will be defined as one hour. Estimated sessions per year are 211. The total number of sessions per week shall not exceed 30 hours. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price. The award will be made to the responsible company or individual who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price related factors only. Quoters must specifically identify the individual that will be performing these services under any subsequent award. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. A session is defined as one hour. “The solicitation will be available on or after “August 21, 2008”, and will be distributed solely through the General Service's Administration Federal Business Opportunities web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The site provides downloading instructions. The anticipated receipt of quotes is September 21, 2007. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site.
