THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to identify Small Business firms capable of providing the following supplies to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS): DHS intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Peacekeeper Products International, LLC, 2435 Pine Street, Pomona, CA 91767 to acquire the S.W.A.T BOT Remote Control Moving Target System MR3 (4 ea) and the UTM Paper Target Adapters, (4 ea). Item 1 - S.W.A.T BOT MR3 - is specifically designed for live firearms training with 3D realism. The system simulates human movement like a real suspect. It is portable and can be transported from one range to another. Specifications: base vehicle rolling chassis, complete with ballistic resistant skid plate, drive motors, electronics, and (2) each sealed lead-acid batteries; radio control system, with two-channel receiver and hand-held transmitter, plus (8) each AA alkaline batteries; whip antenna for base vehicle; automatic battery charger for base vehicle lead-acid batteries; target mounting post, 1”D x 28”L; hex key ¼”, for target mounting post; Speed: 0-7mph, variable in forward or reverse; Size: Length 37: Width: 28:, Height: 6: (at top of deck); Weight: 68 lbs. (base vehicle without target), Battery Life: 4 to 8 hrs., Radio range: 150 to 300 feet. Standard transmitter, Load capacity: 100 lbs. maximum target, accessory and cargo weight; Rubber tires: 8: x 1 ¾” front and rear. Item 2 - UTM Paper Target Adapters – attaches to S.W.A.T. BOT MR3 base to hold targets. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Purchase Request No. 2108FMTQPA013 has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Vendors interested in providing these supplies are invited to provide the following information to Theresa M.
