- This is a request for information only. The intent is to identify potential small business offerors capable of providing Study Coordinator services in the Dept. of Clinical Investigation for Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii. The contract term, if awarded, will be a base period for one year plus four (4) one-year options. The base period of performance will commence 29 September 2008 through 28 September 2009. The NAICS code for this proposed procurement is 561110 and the small business size standard is $6.5 Million. The duties for this position are as follows: Assist PI with all IRB related requirements and any interface with the clinical project sponsoring organization. Review patient records and identify potential eligible patients for inclusion/exclusion in the study. Identify subjects by screening admission to the critical care units to determine if the patient meets the inclusion criteria. Interface with other departments throughout Tripler (e.g. Pharmacy) in support of the clinical protocol. Perform Data collection and statistical analysis. Minimum qualifications are: Bachelors of Science in Nursing with at least 3 years clinical medical-surgical nursing service. A background in critical care would be preferred, but is not required. Current RN license in the state of Hawaii. Must be familiar with a) APACHE II and SOFA scores; b) Computers to include ability to use Word and Excel, and ability to retrieve information from computerized data systems; c) Charting procedures and documentation process. Desirable qualifications include a familiarity with statistical analysis.
