Justification for Other than Full and Open CompetitionDepartment of Veterans Affairs Medical Center The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 7, Birmingham AL intends to negotiate a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302.1, with Fresenius USA Manufacturing Inc. to provide 9 Hypercare Dialysis Computer linkage w/CPRS for the VAMC Birmingham. This notice of intent is not a REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties may identify their experience in providing this equipment to the Contracting Officer via e-mail or fax 478-274-5866. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
