Description
The purpose of this modification is to correct the number of children and adults attending. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Fort Carson intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract for conference services at a resort location. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 721110. This solicitation will end on 15 August 2008, 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time. The Contractor shall propose the following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINS): 0001 Total Lodging _________ 0002 Food and Beverage Charges _________ 0003 Childcare Charges __________ CLIN 0004 Audio Visual___________ Total: __________ The total proposed price shall also include any incidental charges within the lodging price, to include parking, etc. The period of performance is 22 August 24 August 2008. Statement of Work: The vendor shall be located within 60 miles of Fort Carson. Retreat shall include 19 deluxe rooms, for 38 adults and 7 children. Deluxe rooms shall include beds or roll-out beds for children, private baths, living area, television, small refrigerator, and a queen size bed or larger included in the sleeping area for the adults. The vendor shall include three meals for 38 adults and 7 children (Friday buffet dinner, Saturday continental breakfast and Saturday lunch) and one buffet for 7 children only (Saturday dinner). The vendor shall provide morning coffee and water for adults and mid-morning light snacks (consisting of but not limited to: fruit, vegetables, and juice) on Saturday for adults and children. Vendor shall provide a proposed menu to be submitted with their quote. Vendor shall provide one conference room on Friday evening from 18001930 and Saturday morning from 0800-1230 furnished with round tables, chairs, audio, Proxima projector, and DVD capability to accommodate 38 adults. The vendor shall provide computer connectivity with audio and video capability for government provided computers. The vendor shall provide a separate conference room space located in the same building to accommodate the vendor-provided child care for 7 children on Friday evening from 18001930, Saturday morning from 0800-1230 and Saturday night from 1800-2200. Activities shall be planned for the children to participate in while in childcare (activities may include movies, arts and crafts, etc.) The vendor shall propose activities and submit the information with their quote. There will be five children under the age of five and two children over the age of seven. The Government will provide Audio Visual equipment for children's activities. CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS: The vendor shall be located within 60 miles of Fort Carson and shall be capable of providing all services and facilities listed in the Statement of Work on premise. The vendor shall provide a licensed childcare provider for the childcare services. The vendor shall have on-site recreational facilities, to include outdoor swimming pool and hot tub. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price, capabilities, and childcare activities offered. The Government intends to evaluate offers and make award without discussions; however, this does not preclude the Government from having discussions if it is in the best interest of the Government to do so. To be eligible for an award, contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. A contractor can contact the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423 or e-mail at http://www.ccr.gov. NO EXCEPTIONS. A DUNS (Dun and Bradstreet) number is required in order to register. All invoices shall be submitted through Wide Area Work Flow. You can register at https://wawf.ef.mil/index.html. All responses must be received by 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time on 15 August 2008.
