- REQUIREMENT: The General Services Administration is seeking to lease 6,935 RSF - 7,665 RSF rentable square feet which should yield 6,200 USF - 6,500 USF usable square feet of contiguous office or related space for the Census Bureau in Fort Myers together with three (3) on-site, reserved parking spaces. The space must be within the delineated area described below. LOCATION: The area in Fort Myers, Florida within the following boundaries or county, to be located in Congressional District 14: Within Lee County. Portion of the city of Fort Myers within Congressional District 14. Starting on the SW side of the AOC from Caloosahatchee River, follow Cypress Lake Dr east, south on the Seaboard Coast Line RR, east on Alico Rd, north on Green Meadows Rd, northwest on St Rd 82, north on St Hwy 93 closing the AOC at Caloosahatchee River. REQUIRED: The space must be contiguous and located on one floor in commercial, retail or industrial/flex space. The building should have a loading dock, forklift accessibility, or adequate alternative for deliveries. Lease should be "Full Service"; all services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Space must be ready for occupancy August 17, 2009. Regularly scheduled public transportation and/or employee parking within three (3) blocks sufficient to cover commuting and visitor needs should be available. A variety of inexpensive, and moderately priced fast food and/or eat-in restaurants within three blocks, and other employee services such as retail shops, cleaners, banks, etc. should be available within one-half (1/2) mile. Buildings offered must be of sound and substantial construction of the type generally recognized as modern office-type buildings having fully adequate means of ingress and egress, must fully meet the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standard (ABAAS) or capable of being altered to meet ABAAS. The building must also conform to current seismic requirements. LEASE TERM: Term is 16 months, 12 months firm.
