- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. REQUIREMENT: Supply (no installation required) - forty (40) polyethylene flashboard risers, 48 inch minimum weir width, 8 foot minimum height, 36 inch discharge (to fit ADS N-12 36 inch pipe), with stainless steel frames (or equivalent plastic or aluminum frames), U/V inhibitor, tie down brackets, and required stainless steel installation hardware. A sample drawing is available upon request. Email request for drawing to Paula Daily at paula.r.daily@usace.army.mil. This drawing is to be used for conceptualization only and is provided as general information for a similar product. The dimensions listed above are the correct minimally acceptable dimensions and product material required. Deliver to: US Army Corps of Engineers, 1706 E. 5th St., Panama City, FL 32401. Evaluation Factors: Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Technical acceptability will be determined based on any and all information submitted by offerors necessary to support the product being offered, to include, but not limited to: concept drawings, material description and/or literature and pictures of the product. Additional Information In accordance with FAR 52.212-1(k), the prospective awardee shall be registered and active in the CCR database prior to award. If the offeror does not become registered in the CCR database by the due date/time of quote, the Contracting Officer will proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered offeror. Offerors may obtain information on registration at www.ccr.gov. Quotes are due NLT 1400 central time on 28 Aug 08. Quotes may be mailed to: US Army Corps of Engineers, 109 St Joseph Street, ATTN: CESAM-CT-S (Paula Daily) Mobile AL, 36602 or emailed to: paula.r.daily@usace.army.mil; Facsmilies will not be accepted. All quotes must arrive at the place and by the time specified. All offers shall be clearly marked with the quotation number, offerors name and address, point of contact, phone number, fax number and email address, if available. Quote include two parts. Quote may be considered non-responsive if you fail to include all information. PART 1 Include- a) Representations and Certifications b) At least three(3) references (companies who you have provided similar items to in the past three years; c) descriptive literature/specifications of item being offered. d) estimated delivery date. PART 2 - Include price data to include a separate quote for the item and a separate quote for the shipping and handling; Questions or request for sample drawing may be emailed to the address above.
