A firm fixed-price Requirements Type Commercial Contract iscontemplated with one basic year and 4 (four) one year options. Item0001: NOUN - Remanufacture F108 Module 8 CDN Case; Input NSN2840-01-262-0495PN, P/N 9523M17G13/15 and/or 9529M99G04/G08/09. OutputNSN 2840-01-262-0495PN, P/N 9523M17G13/15 and/or 9529M99G04/G08/09.BEQ as follows: 16 EA Basic Year; 16 EA OPT I; 16 EA OPT II; 16 EA OPTIII; 16 EA OPT IV. Applicable to the F108 Engine on the KC-135; Dest:Tinker Air Force Base, OK 73145. Item 0002: AFMC FORM 413 DepotMaintenance Production Report Required IAW DD Form 1423-1. Item 0003:CAV II/CAV AF Reporting required IAW DD Form 1423-1. Item 0004: CEMSReporting required IAW DD Form 1423-1. Description: Otherwise known asthe Combustion Case Assembly it provides structural interface, transmitsthe engine axial loads, and provides gas flow path between thecompressor and the High Pressure Turbine (HPT). Delivery: Item 0001: 2EA 30 days ARO and receipt of reparable assets; Item 0002: IAW DD Form1423; Item 0003: IAW DD Forms 1423; Item 0004: IAW DD Forms 1423.Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to beingconsidered for award. Qualification requirements are available for thisacquisition. The approximate solicitation issue date is 26 AUG 08 andthe estimated solicitation response date will be 23 SEP 08. Theanticipated award date will be 10 OCT 08. Electronic procedures willbe used for this solicitation through FedBizOpps at http://www.eps.gov/.All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, orquotation that shall be considered. Award will be made only if theofferor, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualificationrequirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause52.209-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capabilityto respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intentis not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposalsreceived within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under anexisting basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of thissynopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by theGovernment not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses tothis notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposeof determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement describedare incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by theGovernment.
