Description

Pope AFB intends to issue a sole source contract to SIEMENS GOVERNMENT SERVICES INC under the Agency's current GSA Federal Supply Schedule Contract # GS-35F-0696M for the installation of the Nice Log v 8.9 Voice Recorder and components. The Statutory authority for this sole source purchase is FAR Part 6.302-1; Title 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1). The applicable NAICS code is 517919. This notice of intent is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation of offers, however all responsible sources may submit written capability statements which shall be considered by the agency. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Interested sources must submit detailed technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the requirements above, no later than August 18, 2008.
