Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has requirement to secure data from Emory University, Department of Medicine Division, Division of Cardiology from subjects who have Venous Thrombosis and Insulin Resistance. CDC believes that Emory University is the only known laboratory that routinely measures the vascular functions in African Americans. This notice is issued for informational purposes only. Any interested party may identify themselves to the contracting officer no later than five (5) days from the date of this announcement. Submit information to Dorothy Reed Penix at dfr9@cdc.gov, Solicitation Number 2008-Q-10865. No solicitation will be issued. If no responses are received within 15 days, award will be made to the Emory University Cardiology Division, 1639 Pierce Ave, Atlanta, GA 30322. This procurement will not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. Award will be made under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 (c ) (1) without further notices being issued. All responses received shall be considered by the Government.
