- Description
- The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Diabetes Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, with Eppendorf North America, One Catiague Road, Westbury, NY 11590-0207 to procure a Adherent Cell Injection System. Eppendorf North America is the only known source capable of providing the required Adherent Cell Injection System. This action is under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supply will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received before the closing date of this announcement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is anticipated that Request for Quotation (RFQ) NIHDK2008080 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. Request for the RFQ must be in writing to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, 6707 Democracy Boulevard, Two Democracy Plaza, Room 775, Bethesda, Maryland 20892.
