- Description
- The Contractor shall provide Biomedical Equipment Repair Technician service to repair, calibrate and maintain medical equipment and instrumentation. This is a commercial acquisition. This solicitation is a Request for Proposals and issued as 100% small business set aside under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code J065, NAICS Code 811219 and the related Small Business Size Standard is $6.5 million. The proposed performance period is 02 Sep 2008 through 01 Sep 2009 plus four 1 year options. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities web page; (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/). The solicitation can be accessed by USAF offices, Air Mobility Command, McGuire AFB, 305 CONS. Paper copies will not be made available. All prospective offerors must obtain a DUNS number and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to conduct business with the government. All prospective offerors also must have valid Representations and Certifications. The Offeror Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) can be submitted and updated on line at the ORCA website (http//orca.bpn.gov). All prospective offerors must obtain a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE code). The solicitation will be posted on or about 13 Aug 2008. Due date will be posted on the solicitation. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon interested contractors to monitor the Fed Biz Opps web page frequently for updates/amendments to the solicitation.
