- F--The Bureau of Indian Affairs is Requesting Quotations for GPS mapping and ground application for spraying of noxious weeds for approximately 3,800 acres within the Standing Rock Indian Reservation, North Dakota. Activities will occur between September 1, 2008 and September 30, 2008. Quotes must contain adequate information to demonstrate Contractors possession of the following requirements: 1. North Dakota or South Dakota commercially certified pesticides applicator. 2. North Dakota or South Dakota resident or Company headquartered in North Dakota or South Dakota. 3. Be a company with a minimum of five years experience as the prime contractor in the application of herbicides covering the control of noxious weeds. Maps and database will show spray activities separated by species of weeds. Map points will suffice for acreages less than 5 acres, while polygons should be used for larger than 5 acre treatment activities, and lines for continuous parallel infestations along roads, streams, fence lines and lakes. 4. Provide a listing of all previous jobs of similar size and scope of work contained in this solicitation for the past three years. This list shall include a brief description of the contract, price, performance dates, name, address and telephone number of Company or Agency that let the contract. 5. Provide proof of insurance prior to being awarded the contract. The amount of insurance shall be $1,000,000 and must cover personal injuries, property damage, herbicide exposure, herbicide misapplication and herbicide spills. The contractor shall provide all equipment and labor necessary to accomplish this project. This is a Small Business Set-Aside.
