- Small Business Set-Aside is hereby dissolved. Requirement is now full and open competitive acquisition. The 77 Aeronautical Systems Group, Contracting Division (77 AESG/PSK) intends to negotiate a FULL AND OPEN competitive firm-fixed price (FFP) contract to manufacturer the: Noun: Filter Unit, Gas Particulate (Also known as Aircrew Eye Respiratory Protection (AERP) blowers): Quantity 50 each, NSN 4240-01-343-3443, P/N 51620-80. The Government is NOT procuring NSN 4240-01-361-1319, the 3M canister that is normally attached to the Filter Unit, Gas Particulate. First Article - Contractor Testing with Conditions for Waiver applies. Proposed delivery is 210 days after award of contract. Ship/To: Multiple Ship To. FOB is Origin. Inspection & Acceptance will be Origin. Packaging Requirements shall be IAW AFMCFARS 5352.247-9009, Military Packaging and Marking and Appendix D of MIL-STD-2073-1, QUP 1, PRES-PACK B. Government Drawings/Specifications: Complete drawings are available. Offerors must submit request for drawings via email to the PCO and Buyer noted below. CD will be mailed to requester upon receipt of email request. No other request will be honored. Applicable NAICS is 333411. Description: Item used to provide blown air to an aircrew eye respiratory (AERP) hood during ground and flight operations for de-mist and filtered breathing air. Anticipate award by 30 Sep 2008. Any concerns regarding this acquisition may be directed to the Contracting Officer. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. If your concerns are not satisfied by the Contracting Officer, interested parties are invited to contact the Ombudsman, Mr. Edward Noack at 210-536-2319 or e-mail edward.noack@brooks.af.mil.
