- This Notice is posted to modify the Synopsis posted on 27 May 2008 for the same requirement. The Synopsis now reads as follows: The Philadelphia Division, Contracting Department of the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk intends to solicit and negotiate an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. Task Orders issued under this contract will be Cost plus Fixed Fee or Firm Fixed Price Task Orders. The purpose of the resultant contract is to acquire Information Technology (IT) support for the Information Resource Department (IRD) of the Naval War College (NWC). This requirement will be solicited as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The mission of the IRD is to provide day-to-day IT and telecommunications support to the NWC. IRD is made up of five (5) functional branches: Customer Support Services, System Administration, Network, Application Development, and Information Security. NWC requires IT support for web/database/portal development, Tier I/II service desk, instructional systems, Cisco network engineering, information security, desktop management, network video broadcasting, audio/visual systems, and telecommunications support tasks. The awarded contractor will be issued task orders under the IDIQ contract to provide support in the following areas: System Administration, Network Administration and Engineering, Database/Web Application Development and Support, Information Security Support, IT Customer Support, Instructional Systems Support, and Audio Visual Support. It is anticipated that the contract will contain a base period of performance of twelve months plus four (4) twelve month option periods. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541519 (Other Computer Related Services) and the Small Business Size Standard is $23.0M.
