- Description
- The General Services Administration (GSA) Pacific Rim Region announces an opportunity for construction services for a repair and alteration project, involving Main Building and Shell Improvements, at the Andrade Land Port of Entry (LPOE), Winterhaven, CA. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, supplies, materials, parts, equipment, and tools to perform the specified work. The scope of work for the Andrade LPOE project includes but is not limited to tenant improvements in the newly constructed shell; asbestos abatement, demolition, and tenant improvements in the Main Building at the Andrade LPOE. This requirement is a competitive, 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. See Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 19.1403 for status as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The NAICS associated with this procurement is 236220. The small business size standard associated with this NAICS is $31 million. The estimated project cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, with an anticipated project duration of approximately 320 calendar days. The Request For Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about 09/04/08. The technical specifications in the RFP are considered Sensitive but Unclassified Information. Therefore, interested offerors will need to be approved prior to gaining access to the RFP package. In order to be granted access, an offeror must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (URL: http://www.ccr.gov). Once you have registered with CCR you will be required to register with FedBizOpps. No federal materials can be downloaded until you have registered under both sites. You may access FedBizOpps via the following URL: http://www.fbo.gov. Once registered at both sites, interested offerors must complete the attached “Document Security Form”. ALL INTERESTED VENDORS MUST SUBMIT THE DOCUMENT SECURITY FORM POSTED WITH THIS NOTICE PRIOR TO BEING GRANTED ACCESS TO THE RFP PACKAGE. THE DOCUMENT FORM MUST BE EITHER FAXED TO 619-557-2928 (ATTN: DAN MAKOWSKI), OR E-MAILED TO DAN.MAKOWSKI@GSA.GOV. Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the RFP, Amendments, attachments, and printing the RFP, Amendments, and attachments.
