- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, NSWCCD intends to negotiate on a sole source Basis with Pacific Consolidated Industries, LLC, 1201 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, CA. 92503 for the furnishing of spare parts for a Liquid Oxygen System which was produced for CVN-70 02N2 Modernization Program under ShipAlt 9285K. Delivery of the parts is expected within 240 days after date of contract award. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 333999. The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1). "This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command." "Interested parties may communicate their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within thirty (30) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract among responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Written requests can be submitted to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division Philadelphia Office, 5001 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19112-1403, Attn: Matthew Dreby, Code 3353. The solicitation will be released on or about 15 September 2008 and will close thirty (30) days thereafter."
