Description
The Social Security Administration (SSA) requires delivery of the following items: Quantity, Item Number; Name. (3) RAM-5SF-60-4-C; REAM-A-MATIC SPEED FEED UNIT. (6) GTC-704Q-45-R5; FLEXIBLE SHAFT 45'. (3000) ESGB-Q-062; ENHANCED SPIN GRIT BRUSH QUICK CONNECT. (1) CTV-1501-60; COOLING TOWER VACUUM. (1) CTV-KIT-1501; ACCESSORY KIT. (1) CTV-F2; COOLING TOWER VAC FILTER. (1) 9703-6; CARTRIDGE FILTER PACK (6). (1) GVC-1500; VAPOR STEAM CLEANER. (1) SET-200-P; COMBUSTION ANALYZER W/ FLUSE PROBE AND PRINTER. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and FAR subpart 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. SSA anticipates awarding a firm fixed-priced purchase order. This requirement is 100% set aside for small businesses under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 333319 Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing. The size standard is 500 employees. The following FAR provisions are incorporated by reference to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications of Commercial Items. The following clauses will be incorporated into any resulting order: FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions of Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders of Commercial Items. The above mentioned provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at this address: http://www.arnet.gov. In addition, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award. Information on registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained accessing the CCR web site at http://www.ccr.gov/. The Government will place an award to the offeror, or combination of offerors, that results in the lowest total price for the requirement, administrative costs considered. For evaluation purposes, the estimated administrative cost of awarding a separate order is $500. Offers are due on August 25, 2008 5:00 p.m. EST. Quotes shall be submitted electronically to derek.easter@ssa.gov or by facsimile to: 410 966-9310, ATTN: Derek Easter. Quotes must include the name and telephone number of a company representative that can be contacted, the company's address, DUNS number, and TIN number. Offerors shall fill out the provision FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications of Commercial Items and submit it with their offer.
