- REQUIREMENT: The General Services Administration is seeking to lease 6,270 RSF - 6,930 RSF rentable square feet which should yield 5,650 USF - 5,800 USF usable square feet of contiguous office or related space for the Census Bureau in St. Petersburg together with three (3) on-site, reserved parking spaces. The space must be within the delineated area described below. LOCATION: The area in St. Petersburg, FL within the following boundaries or county, to be located in Congressional District 10: Within Pinellas County and Congressional District 10. The AOC includes a portion of the City of St Petersburg as well as areas outside the city limits. The Tampa Bay provides the eastern boundary, starting on the northern end of the AOC, follow south on I-275, west on 62nd Ave N, south on 34th St N, west on 58th Ave N, south on 52nd St N, west on 40th Ave N, north on 62nd St N, follow Joes Creek northwest to Boca Ciega Bay, which provides the western boundary. On the southern end of the AOC, follow east on 1st Ave S, north on 53rd St N, east on Burlington Ave N, north on 40th St N, east on 5th Ave N to the Tampa Bay, closing the AOC. REQUIRED: The space must be contiguous and located on one floor in commercial, retail or industrial/flex space. The building should have a loading dock, forklift accessibility, or adequate alternative for deliveries. Lease should be "Full Service"; all services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Space must be ready for occupancy August 17, 2009. Regularly scheduled public transportation and/or employee parking within three (3) blocks sufficient to cover commuting and visitor needs should be available. A variety of inexpensive, and moderately priced fast food and/or eat-in restaurants within three blocks, and other employee services such as retail shops, cleaners, banks, etc. should be available within one-half (1/2) mile. Buildings offered must be of sound and substantial construction of the type generally recognized as modern office-type buildings having fully adequate means of ingress and egress, must fully meet the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standard (ABAAS) or capable of being altered to meet ABAAS. The building must also conform to current seismic requirements. LEASE TERM: Term is 16 months, 12 months firm.
