- Statement of Work for Site Services This Statement of Work (SOW) is entered into between the Department of Veterans Affairs NY/NJ Veterans Healthcare Network and the Contractor, and incorporates by this reference the terms and conditions in effect between the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Contractor. 1.Services Contractor is to provide a Computer Programmer/Web Content Developer with current working knowledge and expertise in the FatWire Content Server content management system. 2.Scope of Services Contractor shall provide services and staff, and otherwise do all things necessary for or incidental to the performance of live site services as set forth below: The Computer Programmer/Web Content Developer must have current working knowledge of FatWire Content Server architecture, programming paradigm, system administration, support and troubleshooting, Flex and Basic Asset Models, database model, structure and relationships. Computer Programmer/Web Content Developer must have extensive experience in the Fatwire Content Server stack with hands-on exposure to all product functionalities such as dynamic publishing, user administration, security, workflow engine, personalization, caching, segmentation and recommendation. Computer Programmer/Web Content Developer must have good background in development using J2EE and should have worked with FatWire Content Servers tags and class libraries. Computer Programmer/Web Content Developer must be comfortable with developing functionality within a FatWire Content Server environment. The Computer Programmer/Web Content Developer must have the ability to work closely with other infrastructure team members in suggesting improvements to the existing framework from a FatWire Content Server standpoint to make the delivery platform more robust and stable. Work will include customizing FatWire Content Server to serve business needs and architecting solutions using FatWire Content Server v6.3 as follows: converting unmanaged web sites to content management system (CMS) based solutions coding both XML and JSP Content Server tag libraries architecting and coding against FatWires Content Server caching solution defining and setting up workflow solutions providing first line of support during Fatwire Content Server production support activity providing support for FatWire Content Server upgrades and bug fixes providing training for VA NY/NJ Veterans Healthcare Network web administrative staff assisting with the development of end-user training material 3.Skills Required Current working knowledge of FatWire Content Server architecture, programming paradigm, system administration, support and troubleshooting, Flex and Basic Asset Models, database model, structure and relationships. Expert working knowledge and skill in advanced programming techniques and languages including Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Extensible Markup Language (XML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Java Server Pages (JSP), Java, JavaScript, J2EE technology and development and specialized Internet technologies. Basic level of exposure to SQL programming. Experience with RDBMS and SQL Server database. Experience with application server software such as Sun JES Server or BEA WebLogic Server in an intranet/Internet environment that hosts a variety of language systems used to program database queries and process business logic. Web server administration knowledge. Extensive experience with applications development, project management and lifecycle methodologies. Comprehensive knowledge of GUI design concepts, client-server architecture, relational database design, and middle tier architecture. Knowledge of complex operating systems software, browser configurations, and platform configurations. Working experience and current in-depth knowledge of Windows operating system.
