- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Floating Caisson Barge Classification Code: 2090 Miscellaneous Ship and Marine Equipment Solicitation Number: W912P5-08-B-0014 Closing Date: 11 September 2008 *WILL ACCEPT QUOTES BEFORE THIS DATE Restrictions: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a Floating Caisson Barge Commercial Supply Item as defined by FAR 2.101 prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number W912P5-08-B-0014 is issued as a Invitation for Bid (IFB) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-06, dated 08 June 05. NAICS is 336611; business size is 1000 Employees; acquisition is Full and Open Competition. Delivery of the Floating Caisson Barge shall have an option of two locations: Wilson Lock and Dam, Florence Alabama or Barkley Lock and Dam, Grand Rivers, Kentucky. Description of Items Requested: Line Item 0001, Floating Caisson Specialized Barge. Offers are due not later than 11 September 2008 10:00 AM CT. All responsible concerns may submit a quote that will be considered by this agency. It is contemplated that Period of Performance will be one year after contract award date.
