Description
TACOM is hosting a conference PM-SKOT Industry Day. This synopsis contains an agenda, and information regarding Contractor Display Tables. A complete agenda may be requested from the email addresses below. The conference will be held August 26-27, 2008 at the iWireless Center in Moline, IL. PM-SKOT refers to Sets, Kits, Outfits and Tools managed by PM-SKOT, in Rock Island, Illinois. This conference will provide information regarding PM-SKOT historically, where we are at now, and what is anticipated for the future. The agenda for Day One, Tuesday, 26 Aug 08, will begin at 0730 for registration, presentation beginning at 0800 and go until 1630. A No Host Social Hour at River House in Moline, beginning at 1800 is planned. The agenda for Day 2, Wednesday, 27 Aug 08, will begin at 0800. Contractors may reserve an area for companys tabletop display by contacting the personnel named below. The displays should fit on or around a standard 8 by 24 table. No charge is assessed for this opportunity but a reservation must be made prior to Day One. The purpose of these displays is to provide information on their company to the assembled PM-SKOT personnel and contractors for subcontracting and teaming opportunities. It is not intended to be product displays or demonstrations. No power will be available for the displays. Table Top Displays may be available for viewing on Day One from 0800 until 1630 and on Day Two from 7030 until 1200. Display may be set up anytime after 0600 on Day One. Finally, PM SKOT intends to set aside time in half-hour intervals to meet individually with interested contractors at their request on Day Two. The purpose of these individual breakout meetings (between Government Representatives and individual contractors) is to ensure PM SKOT understands the contents of the information provided as well as to provide a confidential forum for contractor specific questions or comments about their companys participation in the SKO segments. Please provide a list of participants you wish to send to the conference, your request for reservation for your companys tabletop display, and breakout request to Terrance.jennings@us.army.mil or joan.wysoske@us.army.mil by 21 Aug 2008. 08. Wednesdays schedule with specific names and times for the presentations and breakouts will be provided on Industry Day, Day One (Tuesday). In the event there are more participants than space available, it might be necessary to limit the number of participants. Should this situation present itself, PM SKOT will contact your companys designated POC and request an updated list of attendees. At the end of Day One, a question and answer period is scheduled. If you would like to submit questions in advance, please contact Terrance Jennings or Joan Wysoske at the email provided above.
