- The VA Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach California intends to enter into a sole source contract with Tri-Anim Health Services, Inc. 13170 Telfair Ave, Sylmar, CA 91342-3573. This BOS announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued; a separate written solicitation shall NOT be issued. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1-only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Request for Quotation is RFQ VA-262-08-RQ-0433IM. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 423450. The VA San Diego Healthcare System intends to purchase Medical Equipment for Emergency Preparedness, which includes but not limited to the following items: ET Tube, Cuffed, Handle, Laryn, Blade, Laryn, Flowmeter, Ox, Capnocheck, w/o Alarms, w/ins, airway, adapter, Resus, vortn, auto, RC 6", man, Resus, auto, adl/ped, 6', mano, case, manifold, stand, 20'tube, reg, ox, 50#preset, hcyl, vent, parapac, with alarm, carrying case, parapac,ve, circuit, parapac, peep,dsp, humid-vent flex sterile. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government shall consider all proposals received by 1:00 PM Pacific Standard Time Friday, August 22, 2008. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries shall be accepted. Information can be sent to the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network 22 Logistics Office, Bldg. 149, Attn: Imelda M.
