Description: THIS IS AN UNFUNDED REQUIREMENT. Government will not incur any fees or costs on estimates submitted. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 337215, Size Standard 500. Solicitation/Purchase Request number F2K3AP8183AC01 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26 effective 12 Jun 08. The Government intends to award one contract line item number: CLIN 0001: Records Storage System QUANTITY: 1 UNIT OF MEASURE: Unit DESIRED DELIVERY DATE: 3 Nov 08 FOB: DESTINATION Inspection and acceptance: DESTINATION. Performance Work Statement Vendor shall provide the Kirtland Air Force Base Records Management office, located in building 20140, with a records storage system with the following specifications: 1. zero force safety 2. periodic repositioning for proper ventilation 3. backup power 4. key lock security 5. the file storage system shall hold at least 2,016 staging area boxes 6. the dimensions of the file storage system shall be 24' 11 ½" x 24' 4" (26880 LFI) shelving unit will be 83 ¼" high (12" shelf height for boxes). The project pricing shall include costs for all shipping/handling, unpacking, installation, and user instructions. Pricing should also include disassembly and removal of old shelving (Dexion bolt together), moving shelved media (existing boxes), and relocation of the media to new file storage system. Please see attachment for area layout. The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. In accordance with the FAR 13.106-1(a) (2) offerors are notified that award will be made on the basis of price. FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items, An offeror shall complete only paragraphs (b) of this provision if the offeror has completed the annual representations and certificates electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov. If an offeror has not completed the annual representations and certifications electronically at the ORCA website, the offeror shall complete only paragraphs (c) through (m) of this provision; Offeror will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.106-2.
