Description
Request for Information (RFI): VA-101-08-RI-0259 Credentialing and Privileging Program The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is planning for the acquisition of Contractor services to revise the current Medical Staff Bylaws template and associated rules and regulations; as well as provide a recommendations report, to ensure that the Medical Staff Bylaws template is current and in compliance with 2009 Joint Commission standards and reflect other standards, statutes, and regulations in VA medical staff and credentialing law. VHA has identified multiple capabilities and/or services that will be required of the Contractor and is issuing this Request for Information to enable vendors to submit capability statements. Capability statements will be used to assist VA in defining its acquisition strategy and identify sources able to provide the services requested. VHA requires a Contractor that can provide the following services/capabilities: The Contractor shall assess and analyze the existing Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules, and Regulations template and related documents (reference Section I. Government Responsibilities) for compliance with current Joint Commission standards documents and shall provide a DRAFT Bylaws Template. The contractor shall also provide a report on recommended changes to Bylaws in order to comply with 2009 Joint Commission standards. The DRAFT template must be reviewed and discussed for finalization with the COTR. Interested vendors may submit their capabilities and qualifications to provide the services identified via email to Jessie T. McNeil at jessie.mcneil@va.gov not later than 12:00 PM EST August 22, 2008. Vendors are asked to provide three past performance references for the capabilities identified. Include the Project title, Description of the project, Contract number, Contract amount, Government Agency/Organization and Point of Contact, and phone number/email address. Do you hold a GSA contract? If so, please identify Schedule and Contract number? Telephone inquiries will NOT be accepted. All correspondence shall be sent via email to the address identified and shall reference the RFI number and title in the subject line.
