- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This acquisition is being conducted using the procedures in FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number is F3Z0458192AG01; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26; Defense DCN 20080812; Air Force AFAC 2008-0605. This acquisition will be Total Small Bisiness Set-Aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210. The business size standard is $13M. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is N077. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 1731. This request for quotation consists of the following items on an all or none basis. Service Nonpersonal. Contractor to Supply al tools, labor materials, transportation and training IAW Statement of Work. Shipping to Travis AFB CA must be included. CLIN 0001: Conduct a site-survey to determine the best location to mount speakers. Site visit will take place 20 Aug 08 at 1300, Meeting Place: Visitor Center. (SPEAKERS HAVE ALREADY BEEN PURCHASED), 1 Each CLIN 0002: Brackets for speakers: Vendor supplied, 2 Each. CLIN 0003: Installation of acoustic and sound dampening panels: Vendor supplied (as determined by site-survey). POC will approve locations/aesthetics/material prior to install. Panel material will match sanctuary paint or compliment. Panels from ATS Acoustics (www.atsacoustics.com), PNC West (www.pncwest.com), Acoustic Standards (www.acousticstandards.com) or similar are acceptable. Number of panels needed will be determined by vendor, 1 Each. CLIN 0004: Installation of feedback eliminators and/or electrical interference eliminators: Vendor supplied (as determined by site-survey), 1 Each. CLIN 0005: Tuning: Contractor shall set/tune system for room configuration. Contractor shall provide technician to tune system during Sunday worship services (only on one Sunday from 0900-1200) so that appropriate sound mixing is done with parishioners in the facility, 1 Each. CLIN 0006: Installation of digital delay equipment: Vendor supplied (as determined by site-survey), 1 Each. CLIN 0007: Technical Support: Contractor shall provide telephone technical Support to chapel staff for a period of 6 months after installation, 1 Each. CLIN 0008: Training: Contractor shall provide no less than 2 hours of training for all chapel staff, 1 Each. See Attached Statement of Work. Or Equal. This Statement is for Information Only; it is not a Wage Determination, Employee Class: 13061 - Media Specialist I, Monetary Wage-Fringe Benefits: $19.58/hr. FAR 52.232-18, Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. Vendors must be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
