- For Sale - Pine and Hardwood Timber: Harvesting of selected Pine trees in Forest Record Units #59, and # 58 as specified. The sale consists of approximately 1,670 pine sawtimber trees containing an estimated 724,883 board feet Doyle Scale and 1,313 pine pulpwood trees containing an estimated 83 cords. Log scales based on Form Class 80 for pine. The timber to be harvested is located on approximately 59 acres of the East Reservation, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. A 10% bid deposit will be required. This agency will consider a bid from all responsible sources. The solicitation package, FA4608-08-B-0001, will be posted at the Federal Business Opportunity Website (www.fbo.gov) on or about TUESDAY, AUGUST 26, 2008. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available; interested parties will have to download the solicitation package. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The North American Industry Classification System is 113310 with size standard 500 people. You will not be eligible to receive an award if you are not in the Central Contractor Registration database. (Reference: DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration).
