- FISH FOOD, GRANULES, PELLETS. The US Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 3, intends to issue a commercial item Request for Quotation (RFQ) to furnish and deliver fish food. Deliveries will be to five National Fish Hatcheries in the states of Wisconsin, Missouri, and Michigan. Multiple awards are anticipated from this announcement. The resultant contract(s) will be an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for a base period starting from date of award through September 30, 2009, with three additional option year periods. The total estimated quantity of fish food required for the base period is 624,600 lbs. This procurement is issued on an unrestricted basis. For information purposes, the North American Industrial Classification Systems Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 311119 and the corresponding small business size standard is 500 employees. Request for Quotation No. 301818Q115 will be issued on or about August 25, 2008, with quotations due approximately September 16, 2008. This solicitation will be available at http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov.
