- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to Falcon CableVision a California Limited for the following: One (1) Monthly Cable Service for 393 drops for basic service for FY 2009 at Whiteman Air Force base, 65305. Items procured are to continue current service agreement to provide Whiteman AFB (not including residential base housing) cable television service for 1 Oct 08 thru 30 Sept 09. This acquisition will be accomplished using commercial item procedures in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 for Other Than Full & Open Competition. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The anticipated date of award is 17 Sep 2008. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. Quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal.
