- Description
- AMENDMENT-0001 This amendment is to combined synopsis/solicitation notice # W81R8T8140004 is to provide questions/answers, as well as, correct SOW as follows; Question Submitted and Responses : Q# 1. SOW paragraph C.3.4 calls for clear working area height to be not less than 11 feet. Because of transportation restrictions on height, would a shorter height be acceptable ? a. If so, what would be the minimum acceptable height be ? A: The 11 foot height is desired for test item clearance and adequate solar source distribution. An 11 foot chamber height is believed to permit transportation of an assembled chamber without on site fabrication requirements. The contractors proposal should address any limitations due to the 11 foot height. Q# 2. SOW paragraph C.3.4.7 can the chamber work lights extended into the clear working area Height? A: Yes, the SOW section C.3.4.7 chamber work lights are excluded from the C.3.4 clear working area. The lights can extend into the chamber dimension. Q# 3. SOW paragraph C.3.15.5 Does the Government have a preferred manufacturer / model for the Spectroradiometer? A: No, there are several equipment manufacturers that can support the requirement. The desire is an accurate standalone instrument(s) that have a traceable calibration. Corrections/Additions to the SOW 1. Paragraph C.3.10 Additional section C.3.10 text is below for clarification of chamber control objectives. The objective for the chamber temperature, solar, and humidity control loops are to provide a visual, paperless, graphics interface that simultaneously displays the individual control cycle, and provides storage of the control measurements and configuration parameters. The existing test facility includes backup data storage instrumentation, however the contractor shall provide a complete control system for operation of the chamber. 2. Paragraph C.3.10.1, last line. Correction is below. The Watlow model F4S should be F4D.
