- THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This project includes providing all materials, equipment, and labor required to place concrete pavement as per attached drawings and specifications. The work includes demolition, excavation, backfilling, and paving at Quivira National Wildlife Refuge for a) Roadway pavement at Unit 25 Spillway and b) Roadway pavement at Unit 26 Spillway. LOCATION AND INSPECTION OF SITE Prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the work area in order to examine the existing site conditions by making arrangements with the Project Leader. Site Visit information will be listed in the solicitation. GENERAL INFORMATION The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The total performance is 60 days from the Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 324121, Asphalt Paving Mixture and Block Manufacturing, with a size standard of 500 employees. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on or about 20 August 2008 with an anticipated closing date of 10 September 2008.
