- The purpose of this amendment is to post all of the questions and answers received to date and to extend the solicitation response date to August 20, 2008 at 8:00AM EST. 1) Is the weather backup the 16th or 17th of September? Answer: The weather backup is the 17th, if one of the scheduled days is cancelled the 17th shall be used as a backup for flying. 2) Is 4th generation required or will 3rd generation meet the requirement? Answer: 4th generation is required. 3) Is a SATCOM antenna required or will it be GFE? Answer: SATCOM is desired, however contractor must only supply UHF (Secure Capable) line of sight. 4) Will the Government supply ComSec as required? Answer: Yes.
