Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement F3G5B8192A006 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-06. The NAICS for this solicitation is 423860. The size standard for a small business under this NAICS code is 500 people. This is a commercial request for a Pontoon Boat. The purpose of this boat is to recover parachute jumpers and their equipment. For this reason, a lot of deck space is required. This boat will need, at a minimum, 18 gallon fuel tank, 25" diameter pontoons, folding canopy, rear bench, 16" cross member spacing, built in ladder (located on the side door), two 41" benches, CD, radio with speakers, and a tri-tube 30'/heavy duty transom. The engine should have 150hp with a 4 stroke engine. Also, the boat will need a bunk trailer with tri-tube brakes on both axles. Quotes should be in the following format: price for each item independently and price for combined line items.. Award Basis: Best Value. Award decision will be based upon the offer representing the best value to the government considering the following factors; price, technical capability, salient characteristics, quality, design, warranty, the award shall be made in the aggregate.
