- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. NUWCDIVNPT intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Type Contract on a Sole Source basis to Northrop Grumman Defense Mission Systems, Inc., 88 Silvia Lane, Middletown, RI 02842 for the following items: CLIN 0001 Integrated Submarine Imaging System (ISIS) kit and an image generation capability including installation, integration and testing in a secured laboratory located at NUWCDIVNPT. A SECRET classification is required. This is to be completed by 30 September 2009. NGC is the only know source because they are the design agent for the Tech Insertion 06 (TI-06) upon which the NUWCDIVNPT lab design is based and the ISIS kit will be installed and integrated. The ISIS kit and image generators must be compatible with AN/BYG-1 System and the current Littoral Warfare Weapon (LWW) Test & Integration Laboratory. NGC is the only source with the experience to ensure compatibility and interoperability of the systems being procured within the current configuration of the LWW facility. The Formal Request For Quotation will be released on or about 09/03/2008 with more details. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
