Description
GENERAL: The U. S. Department of Transportation, Maritime Administration intends to acquire, Merchant Marine Service Medals and Bars for Outstanding Achievement to civilian mariners who served on United States Ships. The Maritime Administration is seeking vendors who have the capibility to provide various Merchant Marine Medals and Bars, also, vendor shall be authorized by the Department Of Army, Institute of Heraldry to manufacture medals and bars. 1. The solicitation number is DTMA4Q08009 is being issued as a Request For Quotel (RFQ). 2. This action is set aside to small business under NAICS Code 339914, SIZE STANDARD IS $23.5M, SIC 3965. 3. This is a combined synopsis/solicitaton for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitues the only solicitation; proposals are being requesed and a written solicitation will not be issued. 4. Responses are due by 08/25/2008 at 11:00 a.m. E.S.T. by email or fax to the attention of ronald parker, Contract Specialist. Please include the RFQ number in the correspondence.
