- This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 423430 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. This is not a small business set-aside. The Washington Headquarter Services (WHS), Acquisition and Procurement Office, Department of Defense, 1155 Defense Pentagon, Washington, DC 20301-1155 intends to purchase ecKnowledge software on a specific make and model (brand name) basis. Please see the attached Product List. Ths software will be shipped to Attn: Sharon McCracken OSD/CIO Depot 621 L North Payne Street Alexandria, VA 22314-1805 The Period of Performance (POP) for this requirement will be August 22, 2008 to August 21, 2009. The Government will evaluate quotes and make a selection based on the lowest priced technically acceptable open market quotation. Quotations are due no later than 4:00 pm, Eastern Standard Time, Thursday, 21 August 2008. Offers shall be submitted electronically via email to: juan.sainz@whs.mil. Email submissions must reference the Solicitation Number. For additional information, contact Juan Sainz, Contract Specialist, at (703) 696-1683. Offeror's shall include Tax Identification Number, CAGE Code, Central Contractor Registration Number, DUNS Number, and applicable FSC Codes stated on their quotes. Brand Name Justification ecKnowledge is the only known product to OSD/CIO that will work on the Lotus Domino Platform with the ability to transfer information from Domino environment to Sharepoint.
