- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to purchase a Planar Near Field Antenna Scanner system, which will consist of the scanner itself, a scanner control system and a data collection and analysis system. This scanner will provide near field scanning ability to the existing radio frequency anechoic chamber located at NSWCDD. Performance Criteria, Delivery, inspection, installation and warranty requirements will be listed in the solicitation that will follow this announcement. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued 19 August 2008 with a closing date of 2 September 2008, 2:00PM Eastern Time. Contract award is estimated 15 September 2008. This is a small business set-aside. All responsible small business resources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
