Description: THIS ACQUISITION IS CANCELLLED effective 20 August 2008. TACOM LCMC may issue a revised requirement at an undetermined future date. TACOM intends to negotiate and award on a sole-source basis a firm fixed price contract for purchase of a highly specialized dynamometer test system for current and future wheel and track ground combat vehicles. This system will be installed in the new Ground Systems Power & Energy Lab (GSPEL). The estimated amount for this effort is $15,000,000.00. TACOM-Warren will negotiate on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with AVL, North America, Inc., Plymouth, MI 48170 for this effort. The target award date is 19 September 2008.
