Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. W81NWY82078401 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. This acquisition is unrestricted under NAICS code 811219, Dollars: $6,500,000.00. The requirements in this solicitation: 1. SERVICE MAINTENANCE ON THE LAMINAR/BIOLOGICAL HOODS PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 01 OCT 2008 TO 30 SEPT 2009. MFG: ENV SERVICES STATEMENT OF WORK 1. SCOPE: Contractor shall provide recycling services for Laminar Flow Equipment on the period: 01 OCTOBER 2008 thru 30 September 2009. a. Service shall include all labor, materials, equipment totally functional state of operation as it was orginally intended to operate, in accordnance with that manufacturers specification and the contract. b. Service includes, but not limited : 1. Replacing missing parts, for example, screws, nuts and washers. 2. Adjusting belts. 3. Repolishing and reflating of surfaces per ENV recommendations. 4. Servicing inner areas where debris can accumulate. 5. Replacing will be scheduled and performed annually unless an urgent unscheduled service is requested. 2. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS. a. Contractor shall provide documentation sustantiating they have currently been servicing and maintaining like instruments for a period of 24 months prior to award of contract. b. The services shall include as a minimum a complete visual and operational check of all unserviceable instruments. Report to centers listed below, annually for evaluation of instruments to be served. c. Contractor shall charge for actual needed repairs only, inspection of instruments are non-chargeable. 1. Instruments may not be subcontracted out to other vendors: this is a single vendor contract. 2. All work will be guaranteed without flow for 30 days. Quality of work to be determined bu the chief of the using activity or their designee. Any unsatisfactory work will be performed at no cost to the government.
