Description
This is a sources sought synopsis; there is no solicitation at this time. A presolicitation notice will be synopsized prior to issuing any resulting solicitation. Acquisition of a Aircraft Corrosion and Prevention Cleaning contract is being contemplated. Interested and qualified service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, HUBZone small businesses and 8(a) small business concerns are being sought. The contract type will be firm-fixed price with a base period of one year and four option periods of one year each. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor and personal protective equipment (PPE) to perform Aircraft Corrosion Prevention Cleaning, IAW Air Force Technical Orders 1-1-691, 1F-15C-2-12-JG-20-1 and 1F-15E-2-12-JG-20-1, of approximately 100 operational F-15E aircraft as well as 7 Static Display aircraft. The Government will provide a wash facility, necessary tools/equipment and expendable wash materials for the cleaning of the operational aircraft. The contractor will provide all equipment and washing materials necessary to wash the static aircraft in-place. All work will be completed at Seymour Johnson AFB, North Carolina. The NAICS is 488190. Capable and interested service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, and 8(a) small business concerns must respond to this sources sought synopsis no later than 4:00 p.m. EST on 3 Sep 2008. Responses must include: a) a positive statement of the firm’s intention to submit a proposal in response to a solicitation as a prime contractor; and b) a copy of the firm’s capability statement. The statement should clearly describe: any teaming arrangements; recent (within the last three years) and relevant past performance information to include contract numbers, project title, dollar amounts, points of contact with telephone numbers. Responses are limited to a maximum of 10 single-sided pages, typed in no less than eleven-pitch font size.
