This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. RFQ-TGT-08-0001 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses that are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24. This order is being set-aside for Small Business qualified companies. The NAICS is 42310. The small business size standard is 100 EMPLOYEES. STATEMENT OF NEED: The Department of the Treasury, Bureau Of The Public Debt, on behave of The Treasury Inspector General of Tax Administration, has a requirement for Hitachi or Equal High Sensitivity Color Day/Night Camera. The Brand Name or Equal is required to enhance TIGTA's existing Night Vision equipment. (See Attachment for complete specification list). Offers are due by August 26, 2008 @ 2:00 P.M. ET
