Description: THIS ANNOUNCEMENT SUPERCEDES AND REPLACES PREVIOUSLY ISSUED ANNOUNCEMENT NO. A9512080109, AND SERVES AS OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION THAT SOLICITATION NO. N9512080109 WILL NOT BE ISSUED DUE TO SIGNIFICANT CHANGES IN THE REQUIREMENT. This procurement is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms; NAICS code 237310; Small business size standard: $31.0 million (average gross revenue for the last three (3) years); Magnitude of Construction: $100,000 to $250,000. This acquisition is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. The Government will award a single firm fixed price contract. Award will be made on the basis of "best value" to the contractor that the Government determines can best satisfy the objectives and requirements of the solicitation, in a manner most advantageous to the Government. The work of this contract consists of excavating the rock debris flow material from the culvert at Snider Creek on the Hoh Road, excavating and grading a 250-foot long outfall channel, and excavating and grading the channel upstream from the culvert. This project also consists of constructing a riprap rock bank armor at the Kesnter Creek Bailey Bridge crossing to the Kestner Homestead. This project is located on the Hoh Road near milepost 4.3 and near the Quinault North Shore Road at milepost 6 within Olympic National Park, Grays Harbor County, Washington. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. Telephone / FAX requests for this solicitation will not be accepted. The solicitation will be issued as a request for proposal on or about August 5, 2008 with a response date 30 days thereafter.
